The songs of August... from "Cinderelly"

Questo mese, sia Mariangela che Margherita hanno scelto di tradurre una canzone tratta dal cartone Disney Cenerentola, tuffandosi così nelle magiche atmosfere di questa fiaba dolce e senza tempo.

Entrambe le mie ragazzine, scelta la canzone, l'hanno ascoltata più volte tramite il video tratto dal cartone, con e senza sottotitoli in lingua, poi hanno tradotto il brano e fatto il disegno.

Per Mariangela, "A dream is a wish you make", la nostra "I sogni son desideri".

E' un brano semplice e breve, dall'andamento lento, perfetto con ci è alle prime armi con le traduzioni.

Context

All the women in the kingdom have been invited to a ball at the castle, and Lady Tremaine allows Cinderella to attend it, provided that she gets all her work done and has a nice dress by then. Cinderella thinks about fixing up her mother's old dress and wearing it to the ball, before her stepfamily calls her down to serve them. Jaq, knowing full-well that they're going to run her ragged before she can have time improve the dress, laments that it'll be impossible for her to go to the ball. Then, one of the mice gets the idea to for them all fix up the dress while she's working and surprise Cinderella later that evening.
